Our Story
A studio built on stillness, intention, and the quiet craft of hospitality.

Hannah & Sarah
We're designers, hosts, and stewards of the spaces in our care.
Still Light Spaces began as a shared conviction between two friends: that beautiful homes are more than visually appealing. They influence how people feel, rest, connect, and experience a place. A well-designed space slows the breath. It invites presence.
Hannah's background is in interior design and material craft; Sarah's in hospitality and operations. Together we blend the two — the poetic and the practical — into a studio that creates homes as considered in their sourcing as they are in their service.
We work slowly, quietly, and with a great deal of care. We believe in energetic clearing, in collaborating with the space itself, and in the small rituals of turnover that make guests feel genuinely welcomed. Nothing here is rushed.
What Guides Us
Four quiet principles.
Every home has a presence. We spend time with it before we spend money on it.
Natural materials, artisan makers, pieces that gain character with time.
Rooms are composed for how they will be lived in, not only how they will be seen.
The details of stewardship — the folded linen, the answered message — matter.
Before / After
The same room, held a little differently.
Slide to see how a Sedona living room was reimagined — the bones stayed the same, but the feeling of the space changed entirely.

"A home should feel like an exhale — for the people who live in it, and the people fortunate enough to visit."
